i have barely any fat on my legs. its all muscle
and you wont lose as much weight in your stomach
but l will say volleyball helps a lot:)

Yes it does help you lose weight in your legs and abs. when l started playing and conditioning l lost alot of weight and now l am glad l played becuase now l have almost a flat belly and l dont any fat on my legs.

i started my SYVA Flyers season not even 2 months ago. and (no joke) my legs are solid muscle..
REMEMBER muscle burns fat. so the more you work out te more fat your going to burn!!!
just be sure to work your hardest!!! :))

Well it could go one of two ways:
1) you do not try you do not care and your not doing anything at home to lose weight.
2) you work your butt of on the court and at home eat right and work out like all the time.

way 1) you probably wo not get far in your weight loss
way 2) you totally will it takes determination!

It can help if you're eating the right foods. Cut out simple carbs (sugar mostly) and make sure you're getting enough protein. You will have a hard time losing weight if you eat a lot of junk.

Only if u learn to play well. You have to be on a good team, not just a rec team. It is not as much the volleyball that does it. It is the conditioning. If u r not looking to be a star player & just want to loose weight l would not look to volleyball for it. You should run. Running tones the legs & def the abs. Distance running is the best for it. 5-10 miles a day.
Eat right too! Eat lost of fruit after u do it. Chicken is good, but not fried chicken. A lot of veggies can help too. If u r looking to loose weight l would def. stop drinking sodas right away!

YES! If you have conditioning which is running and streching and working (no volleyball contact) out then YES! we have it everyday untill friday from 3-5pm and then we have practice with volleyball untill 5 pm everyday and if we miss practice we have to run 25 laps and do 25 serves!

You wo not lose weight right away but u will start to notice subtle changes. As far as that goes l mean, ur abs will tighten, u wo not have a six pack but u will have a tighter stomach, u will have to do some other tightening exercises if u want a six pack or a very tight stomach. Your arms will start to become more muscular & ur lower arms or forearms r going to develop. Your legs will become a little more muscular & u will see a slight change. Like l said it wo not make a huge difference unless u really train hard, but u will notice ur body take on a more athletic look.
